2024 Annual Fund
n 1969, a Christian preschool was started at the FPCT church. Now nearly 130 children are enrolled in Kindergarten through eighth grade with a focus on a classical Christian approach to education. After 56 years, we have outgrown our space and need to relocate by Fall 2025 to provide an exceptional classical education designed to cultivate wisdom, virtue, and a deep faith in Christ – equipping students to engage their world with purpose, reason, truth, and grace.
Cultivating wisdom, virtue and a deep faith in Christ
At Cor Deo, our classical Christian pedagogy tills the soil of the heart and mind and is thoughtfully designed to educate the whole child. Proven, tested methodologies and Christ-centered curriculum are like fertilizer to the soul.
Your support can make a profound difference in the lives of our students. By giving, you are ensuring classical Christian education continues to thrive at Cor Deo, where children bear the fruits of goodness, truth, and beauty.
Contribute today to help us raise $450,00 to secure modular classrooms in time for the August 2025 move-in date and fulfill our vital mission.
Praise Covenant Church has invited The Cor Deo School to relocate to their campus which has ample space for classrooms, playground, and parking. Relocating to a welcoming church saves us $5-$6 million in land costs and operational cost sharing, enabling us to remain in Tacoma and take initial steps toward securing a permanent location for Cor Deo School.
Join us in participating in the power of sowing seeds on good soil- soil that will reap a harvest of a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.
A proven education?
That is quite a claim. But it is true.
Our board was so taken with the Good Soil study done in collaboration by ACCS (Association of Classical Christian Schools) and Notre Dame, released in 2020, that we cannot help but marvel at the results.
The study surveyed 24-to 42-year-old alumni from public, secular private, Catholic, evangelical Christian, religious homeschool, and ACCS (classical Christian) schools. Questions ranged from topics of life choices, preparation, attitudes, values, opinions, and practices.
The report is nothing short of incredible. When you give today, these are the results that will be harvested from this good soil. And it’s good, it’s true, it’s beautiful!
